Organizers: The course is organized jointly by the Graduate school in Environmental Health and Environmental Risk Assessment Centre (ERAC)

Course description: The course is an introductory course for risk assessment in toxicology for non-toxicologists. The topics to be covered include:

  • Basic principles in toxicology
  • Toxicity testing
  • Risk assessment paradigms (non-cancer effects, cancer)
  • Risk assessment of chemicals in EU
  • Risk assessment of other agents and exposures
  • REACH.

There will be no examination for the course but the student has to particate in the group works.
