Course description: The course is an introductory course for risk assessment in toxicology for non-toxicologists. The topics to be covered include:
- Basic principles in toxicology
- Toxicity testing
- Risk assessment paradigms (non-cancer effects, cancer)
- Risk assessment of chemicals in EU
- Risk assessment of other agents and exposures
- REACH.
There will be no examination for the course but the student has to particate in the group works.
