Course description: The course includes a short introduction to basics of cell culture techniques, microbiology and genetics, followed by a detailed description of short term toxicity testing and introduces some new approaches for environmental risk assessment. Learning task gives an opportunity to critically evaluate and apply environmental risk assessment in practise.
